Congratulations to Henry and Ruchi whose wedding took place on Saturday at Woodstock Town Hall, north of Oxford. Henry and Ruchi are a lovely couple and it was heartwarming to see the love and support the wedding part had for them on the day.
Woodstock is a lovely Oxfordshire town and in the warm weather felt positively continental as I made my way to the town hall. I was here few months ago for another Town Hall wedding and it’s a lovely place for a civil wedding ceremony. Henry and Ruchi held this ceremony ahead of their full-on Indian wedding celebrations next month and it’s going to be a big contrast I would imagine.
It was pretty much close family in attendance today which made it a small and intimate affair which was a pleasure to photograph. After the wedding ceremony, the party headed for Cherwell Boat House a small riverside venue not far away for the wedding meal. It’s often a nice idea to arrange transport for your wedding guests and today this came in the form of a beautifully restored 1949 Bedford coach courtesy of Nostalgia Travel. As always it was a pleasure to create wedding images for the couple that I hope will lovely to look back on in the years to come. Thanks again Ruchi and Henry – good luck next month!
