Louise and Lee got married today at the Mansion House at Wokefield Park between Reading and Mortimer and just down the road from my studio. Wokefield Park is an impressive 18C building with beautiful grounds. Fortunately the golf course is well away from the gardens at the rear where the wedding receptions are held so we were spared wayward golf balls and the sight of tartan plus fours :)
Louise and Lee were great to work with, they have two boys who were of course dressed up in their finest for the day. It was an intimate wedding with around 35 guests and a nice change to photograph a smaller celebration. Here’s a few favourites from the day so far.

Lee, today’s groom.
Louise, today’s beautiful bride.
Downstairs in the Palmer Room, Lee and son Riley wait for the start of the wedding.
In the adjacent room, Louise gets her briefing from the registrar.
…just holding it together…
Louise tackles the slopes of the Wokefield Park gardens.
One of my favourite images from the wedding.
Riley cheered up during the reception so we made some photographs on the grass outside the building.
A few minutes for some drinks and then into the meal.
The Palmer Room looked lovely set out for the wedding meal.
Thanks again Louise and Lee!
