A chilly winter’s day marked my last wedding of the year and I couldn’t have spent it in a better place than the Coppid Beech Hotel near Bracknell in Berkshire with Sarah and Danny. I was so pleased for them that the day was dry and even came with few blue skies.
Everyone had a great time and it was a pleasure to be there. The hotel almost looks purposely designed for a winter wedding with it’s alpine style architecture, not to mention the ski slope right behind the building.
Despite being so close to Christmas, I am pleased to be able to post some favourite wedding photographs that caught my eye. I thought it would be a nice thing for the bride and groom to show the friends and family over the holidays. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for a slideshow of more wedding images.

A few beautiful detail shots from the wedding arrangements in the hotel.
Today’s dashing groom!
And today’s beautiful bride. A portrait of Sarah lit by windowlight a few minutes before the ceremony in the Sequoia Pines room.
I love photographing during the drinks reception – it’s great to catch the family and guests as they mingle and enjoy the afternoon.
Despite being a bit nippy, it was great to run outside for a few bride and groom portraits at the front of the hotel.
