I was pleased to attend the wedding of Veronica and Matt today at Old Luxters Barn not far from Henley-on-Thames. I was so happy the rain held off for them as it was pretty dismal in the week before the big day. The date also marked Matt’s birthday so it was a double celebration. The bride and groom were lovely – a pleasure to work with and despite the cool weather everyone had a great time. The brand new Mr. and Mrs. are catching up on some sunshine in Turkey at the moment so here’s a few favourite photographs from the day.
The complete gallery will be posted when they get back so if you were at the wedding and would like to see the online gallery, please get in touch and I will let you know when it’s available.
Some favourites from wedding preparation in Marlow.
Luxters Barn is an atmospheric location for the wedding ceremony.
I love photographing those moments immediately after the wedding ceremony.
Veronica expertly slices the top off a champagne bottle with a sabre- no wedding guests (or wedding photographers) injured :)
Some bride and groom portraits in and around the vineyard buildings.
A highlight of the day was a tour of the winery, seeing behind the scenes at the brewing, pressing, bottling, labelling of the wines, beers, liqueurs and other tasty things. This was naturally followed by the tasting session which proved really popular :)
One of my favourite photographs is of the bride and her brother (who lives overseas) that I saw through the window of the barn.
Thanks again Veronica and Matt, see you soon!
