Did these two enjoy their wedding day? Erm, yes, yes they did :) It was a true pleasure photographing Karla and Michael’s wedding day at Taplow House Hotel near Maidenhead. It was clear they had a fantastic wedding day and it will be something precious to remember for many decades to come. When you get married at this time of year, it’s to be expected that you’re going to spend most of the day inside but we did manage to get out to the beautiful grounds at Taplow for a few photographs. Unusually the bride and groom had organised afternoon tea for the wedding guests instead of the standard three course meal and it looked great – perhaps a bit less formal than the usual wedding meal and a great alternative choice. The Tulip Room at Taplow was used for the ceremony and the meal and looked great of course. With the help of David, the resident toastmaster and the hotel staff, everything seemed to go smoothly and the evening ended in the cellar bar dancing to a great band. Here’s some favourites as always – Karla and Michael are enjoying a honeymoon in Vietnam – complete gallery coming soon.
