Today dawned blue and beautiful – and was immediately followed by 3 days of rain :) I was so pleased for Joanne and Darren who’s wedding I was asked to photograph at the picturesque venue of Hampden House in Buckinghamshire. At this time of year, the weather can be a bit touch-and-go and although Hampden has many beautiful public rooms and great hallway – there’s nothing like enjoying the view during the drinks reception from the lawns at the back of the house. Hampden House has it’s own beautiful church located right by the main house and a 30 second walk brings you to the fabulous house itself.
Darren and Jo and their families and friends were great to work with. Everyone was in great spirits and it was a really enjoyable day. The Ceilidh in the evening (provided by the superb Licence To Ceilidh band) was fantastic, a great way to end the day and from what I saw, everyone enjoyed it immensely.
Here are a few photographs from the wedding – the complete gallery will be uploaded when Mr. and Mrs. R. have seen them all, get in touch if you were at the wedding and would like to know when that is.
