Eve and Gary’s beautiful Aldermaston wedding took place today at St. Mary’s Church and afterwards at her Grandmothers house nearby. A couple of family members had held their receptions in the barn in the garden over the years so it was a lovely idea for Eve and Gary to do the same. The bride and groom had worked really hard to prepare the reception location – weeks of cleaning and doing up before the decorating could start. They did a fabulous job and it looked fantastic on the day. I think when you have a DIY reception the photographs perhaps mean a little more in years to come. Weddings only last a day and the time shoots by so quickly it’s a real pleasure for me to record the background, the locations, the wedding details as well of course as the bride and groom and their friends and family.
The complete gallery will be uploaded when the photographs are delivered to E & G. If you would like to know when that happens, CLICK HERE and I will send you an email.
A couple of favourites from the morning.
Meanwhile in a nearby pub…
A favourite from the church ceremony at St. Mary’s in Aldermaston.
The brand new Mr. and Mrs. made their escape in their very cool VW camper van.
…pausing only for a swift drink at the pub (really), it was off to the reception.
The beautiful bride.
The bouncy castle. Set up exclusively for the kids. Ahem.
A few more reception photographs that caught my eye.
Thanks again Eve and Gary, it was a great day wasn’t it?
