Saturday dawned a little cloudy for Simon and Erica’s celebrations in Oxforshire but I was pleased to see that it was pretty much dry for the important parts of the day. S & E were very relaxed and easy to photograph. I think you can tell from the images that they really enjoyed their day despite the on-and-off rain. Also, an auspicious day to tie the knot (at least according to the FTSE).
As usual, a few images that caught my eye from the day. You can email me if you would like to know when the complete gallery will be uploaded.
Erica getting ready to leave the house.
The beautiful little church was on hill in Clifton Hampden overlooking the river. I love this image of Erica and her Dad (below) arriving for the ceremony.

The bride and groom get to be first to the alcohol :)
Simon gets snapped.
The beautiful bride. One thing the clouds do bring is nice soft light, perfect for a few informal portraits.
I turned around and realised you’re never alone photographing a wedding :)
See what I mean? Luckily everyone wes inside by this time.
Erica’s Dad Ollie warms the crowd up.
A couple of favourite reception images at the Springs Hotel Wallingford.
An anonymous guest immortalises the happy couple (L) The new Mr. and Mrs. take to the dance floor (R)
Now that’s just showing off.
It’s a zoom burst, something I haven’t done for years (probably just as well).
Thanks again for being so great to photograph S & E, have a brilliant time and see you when you get back.
