I photographed a lovely little midweek wedding at Easthampstead Park. It was great to be there with Caly and Jon and their families. It’s been a long time since I was at Easthampstead Park so it was nice to be back. Civil wedding ceremonies are a lot more relaxed these days, when I started photographing weddings everything was so regimented and formal. I remember once being barred from a register office wedding by an over zealous registrar(!) It’s nice that the staff are more laid back these days and more focussed on the couple and their experience. Geoff, from Easthampstead Park was great and the ceremony went smoothly.
Caly and Jon were terrific, the weather was amazing and we got some great photographs in and around the grounds.
Here’s a few favourite photographs that that caught my eye.
Easthampstead Park and the long driveway.
The simple wedding breakfast layout and the light and airy room looked great.
Jon and his best man Rob.
Caly and her dad, taking the long walk from the room to the ceremony.
Time for one quick whoosh of the hair and it’s time to go.
Some favourite portraits of the bride and groom in the grounds of Easthampstead Park.
There was just time for a quick windowlight portrait on the stairs inside the house.
A group portrait of the whole wedding party and in to the wedding breakfast.
Thanks again Caly and Jon!
