Before and After

So it’s time for some before and afters. As you’ll know if you have a digital camera the pictures often come out flat and a little dull. Whilst that’s OK for some people I prefer images with a little more punch. We typically shoot 300-350 images on a wedding during the day and each and every one of those gets tweaked and polished in Photoshop before we show you the pictures. As you can imagine, it takes a bit of time to process the images but, as they’re going to be looked at for an very long time, it’s well worth it. Here’s a few examples:

Similarly, the colours have been given a bit more of a tweak to make them jump out a little (in keeping with the subject matter) and the bride and groom made subtly lighter than the crowd.

I love black and white for wedding pictures, it can bring a nice classic feel to the right image.

Here, Henley on a typical summers day (i.e. a little dull and overcast) is given a helping hand to make it a little bit more like it should have looked :)
