I was delighted to present Roz and Keith with a beautiful album from their wedding at RIBA, London. They chose a lovely Riviera blue cover in leather for their book and, as with all of our wedding albums, I designed the layout around the photographs that they chose. I hope it will be an amazing…

When I chat with my lovely couples about their upcoming wedding and the photography arrangements, I totally understand how impossible it is to think about looking back to the wedding day in 50 or 60 years time. I remember getting married at the age of 29 and life was so busy, there were so many…

Charlotte and Ben’s wedding was in Ascot at St. Mary’s School with the reception just down the road at Coworth Park. Charlotte is a teacher so the chapel at her school was an obvious choice for their small wedding. The wedding photography started at Charlotte’s mum’s house in Virginia Water. I was thrown for a…

It was good to back at Luton Hoo to photograph a wedding. I’d been at this imposing Bedfordshire wedding venue before to photograph an Asian wedding so I knew how photogenic the hotel and gardens were. Sometimes it’s frustrating at a wedding, knowing that you could spend hours (days!) creating beautiful wedding portraits in an…

When the weather turns a bit gloomy this time of year photographing weddings can be a bit dicey. You’re pretty much expecting less than optimum weather in winter and planning accordingly. I knew ahead of time that whatever the day might throw at us it was going to be a memorable wedding celebration. Kelly and…

What a lovely intimate wedding at the Vineyard Hotel in Stockcross near Newbury. Mark and Fi got married in the Calistoga Suite at the hotel with their closest family and friends in attendance. I first met Fi and Mark some years ago as the couple work together at Beau Events, a specialist wedding chair cover…

Hi Simon, Thank you so much for the fabulous photos, you captured the day perfectly (as we knew you would!) Everyone looks so relaxed and are all having a great time, just as we had hoped, without worrying about having photos taken. Up to London today for the wedding of Roz and Keith at the Royal Institute of British Architects in Portland Place. I’d not had the pleasure of meeting the couple beforehand (or photographing a wedding at this spacious and light venue) but I was pleased to see how relaxed Roz and Keith were about the…

What a great time everyone had at Jade and Billy’s wedding celebration – despite the rain, it was a terrific day. Here’s a little slideshow of a few favourite photographs!

Christina and Patrick got married today! The wedding was held at St. Annes Church in Bagshot and the reception was just around the corner at Pennyhill Park Hotel. The day started with Christina and the girls getting ready at home. Christina had a great ‘support team’ around her in the morning which is always a…

I photographed a lovely little midweek wedding at Easthampstead Park. It was great to be there with Caly and Jon and their families. It’s been a long time since I was at Easthampstead Park so it was nice to be back. Civil wedding ceremonies are a lot more relaxed these days, when I started photographing…

Caroline and Owen – what a great couple. It was a real pleasure to photograph at their wedding at the beautiful Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire. Here’s my favourite 100 frames from the day. Thanks again C and O!

    Simon,

What can we say?! The photos are fantastic and we cannot thank you enough for the amazing job you did, not just with the pictures but on the day as well.

Prior to the day you were incredibly helpful, talking through what we wanted in detail  but providing advice and support when we needed it.
On the day you were fantastic. You were friendly and professional and I don’t think the groom and his ushers would have made it to the ceremony on time if you hadn’t been there in the morning!
We don’t know how you did it but all day you were literally everywhere without anyone really noticing which has meant that you’ve captured some really beautiful, natural shots of us all laughing, talking, embracing and dancing! It is probably these shots that we will cherish the most (just like you said we would)!
Even post wedding you have  been great, keeping us updated on how the pictures were coming along. The slide show has hugely impressed us and our family and friends and we cannot wait to pick the album – although there are so many amazing shots, this may take some time!
Thank you again and we will certainly be recommending you to friends and family,
    Owen and CarolineReplyCancel

Hi Caroline and Owen, thank you so much for your kind comments – you have me blushing :) It was really a great pleasure to share the day with you, it was great wasn’t it? I do hope the photographs will bring you much pleasure in the years and decades to come.ReplyCancel

Cheryl and Nick got married today at St. Barnabas’ Church in Emmer Green near Reading. We all know how unpredictable the weather has been this year but the deluge that descended half an hour before was…biblical. Nick and the boys were in a nearby pub (an old wedding tradition I thoroughly approve of) and when…
